A local clinic, grown on word of mouth
Gait Way Podiatry was established in North Lakes in 2009. Between them, our podiatrists share more than 45 years of experience treating foot and ankle problems of every age and stage.
Orthotic therapy here is customised to you, not pulled off a shelf, with video gait analysis and pressure platforms when they're needed. And we pride ourselves on the sort of professional, personal care that remembers your name at the door.

The people behind every step
Five podiatrists, plus the friendly faces who keep the clinic humming. Click through for the full story on each of us.

What a visit costs
We'd rather you knew what a visit costs before you book than found out at the desk, so the full list is below. Private health funds can be claimed on the spot through HICAPS, and Eftpos is there too. If your GP has set you up with a care plan, or you're with DVA, bring the referral along and we'll take it from there. DVA referrals run for a year at a time.

Laser Treatment
- Laser Treatment for Fungal Nails (Onychomycosis)Fungal nail laser treatment penetrates the nail and generates heat at the site of infection beneath the nail plate. This destroys the fungal cells. You will feel a warm sensation on the nail and nail bed. The laser treatment does not require any local anaesthesia. The number of treatments required is determined by the number of infected nails, severity of the fungal infection, your age and general health. Your podiatrist will advise on the number of laser treatments recommended for you, but generally, 2-3 treatments are required.

The probe delivers very high energy acoustic waves which expand as they travel inside the area. These sound waves stimulate tissue regeneration, increase blood flow to the specified area and break down scar tissue. The process accelerates healing and provides temporary pain relief.
